In a career spanning more than five decades, artist Beth Van Hoesen created a remarkable body of graphic art and became known for her detailed and technically masterful drawings and prints. The Van Hoesen prints and drawings in the Muscatine Art Center’s permanent collection depict flowers that are almost portrait-like and evocative of the flowers painted by Georgia O’Keeffe.
