Internships
Interns with various areas of study and in many different levels of education have worked alongside Muscatine Art Center staff. High school students through students completing a Master’s degree in Museum Studies have gained experience and a better understanding of museum operations. From photographing the collection and developing marketing pieces to entering collections data and creating lesson plans, interns receive real world experience while helping to advance the mission of the Muscatine Art Center. Interns need not have a museum career in mind. Students interested in marketing, photography, history, art, education, and other areas are encouraged to contact the Muscatine Art Center to discuss their interests.
